A replacement battery is cheap and easy to install yourself. Or drop 800-900+ $ for 5G, water rating, wireless charging, screen notch or an iphone 😱. My OnePlus 7 Pro today is by far much better than what it was new 3½ years ago. DEFINITELY WORTH IT IN 2022. Yes. You can have a 256 GB SE for less than a 64 GB 12 mini. If storage is important to you that is a big advantage. I used to have the 12 mini. I loved the size but traded it in for the 13 pro bc of battery life (didnt go for 13 mini bc I traded with a family member). My daughter has the se 2020. Conclusion. iPhone 12 is, at its core, a showcase of how much software really matters in cameras nowadays. Five years ago, we would have likely looked at the camera improvements on the iPhone 12 by focusing on what is new under that camera bump. While an improvement in the lens is nice, we would’ve probably shrugged it off as a minor improvement. The iPhone SE 2022 has a 2018 mAh battery, and the iPhone SE 2020 has a 1821 mAh battery, so that's only 197 mAh extra. To be honest, 197 mAh isn't going to be very noticable, especially if it has 5G which drains the battery.If you really wanted a better battery but not spend too much money, then just buy an iPhone 11 instead which has a 3110 mAh battery, though the screen is a little bigger

So with that logic, iOS 16 is dropping iPhone 7 a year early. So I suspect this means that a situation is going to repeat much like it did with the iPhone 6 and other A8 based devices where the last iOS version that they supported gets security updates for at least another year. Since the iPhone 6 was in the exact same spot when it was dropped.
